Dr. Joshua Haimovici earned his BA degree from Yeshiva University, New York City, in 1981. He then earned his DDS degree from McGill University in 1985. He maintains a restorative dental practice with an emphasis on comprehensive, aesthetic, and implant rehabilitation.

Dr. Haimovici taught at McGill University Dental School and the Dental Department of the Jewish General Hospital as faculty lecturer for well over ten years. His practice experience is rich and varied; he has always maintained a close relationship with other colleagues and specialists in and out of his own office.

He has devoted hundreds of hours to studying and understanding the biology of health and disease in the oral cavity. Dr. Haimovici frequently travels abroad to Dental Conferences in order to stay abreast of the latest developments in Dentistry. He enjoys learning about and teaching the clinical side of dentistry.

Marisa received her diploma in dental hygiene in 1988 from John Abbot college. She joined Dr.Haimovici at les Dentistes de la Place Vertu in 2004, and was instrumental in bringing a constant evolution of a better and a more improved positive patient experience to our clinic. Marisa accomplished this through her deep-seated passion in the pride she has to the profession of dentistry and love of the people we treat.

She has forged life long bonds with patients who are truly grateful. Marisa enjoys initiating and directing treatment planning for comprehensive cases. Her solid communication and interpersonal skills in English, French and Italian help foster trust and confidence in our patients.

Sylvia graduated and was certified in Dental Hygiene in 1980 from John Abbot College. She continued her studies in Concordia University in psychology earning her a BACC Diploma in 1999. Sylvia joined Dr Haimovici in 2014.

Her passion to the profession and commitment to the patients she lovingly cares for are complimented by her contagious and consistently cheerful attitude. Sylvia has mastered the Art of patient education and coaching to better oral health utilizing the latest in technological advancements we offer at the clinic. She is fluent in English, French and Armenian.

Kiran graduated from College Maisonneuve in 2014 with a certificate in health science. Kiran continued her education and received a diploma in Dental Hygiene in 2018 at College Maisonneuve.

In 2018 Kiran acted as a representative of the CTUSSS of Quebec and visited elementary schools where she administered oral hygiene education.

Kiran has an easy going and relaxed approach in integrating oral health education and treatments to our patients.

Her smile and comfortable demeanor make it extremely easy for her to connect with patients.

Veronica graduated from the dental school at the University of the East, Philippines in 2000 with a degree in Dentistry. As a General Dentist, Veronica brings a wealth of scientific and clinical knowledge improving the fine care we afford our patients.

Veronica has accompanied Dr. Haimovici in several international conferences acquiring up to date surgical techniques now common place in our clinic. Her acute sense of humor, joie de vivre attitude to life and her extraordinary ability to bond to people help her put at ease patients who might be anxious about their treatments. She is fluent in English, French and Tagalog.

Tamana graduated from Dental Assistance school in 2013 after completing her stage with Dr. Haimovici in our clinic. She quickly rose to the very responsible position of clinical coordinator due to her knowledge and passion to the profession and compassion towards patients.

Tamana oversees the esthetics and Invisalign departments in our clinic, and is in charge of all photography, multimedia presentations and Artificial Intelligence software applications. Tamana has travelled with Dr. Haimovici to various international dental conferences in North America. She is fluent in English, French and Farsi.

Rhona graduated from Pearson College in 1979 as a dental assistant. After years of owning her skills as a clinical and surgical assistant Rhona shifted her interests to the administrative side of dentistry. For the past thirty years Rhona has progressively earned the charge of the administration of Les Dentistes de la Place Vertu, by exhibiting complete focus to tasks and personal involvement in patients positive dental experience.

She has mastered all the various levels of management and in turn mentored many colleges in the multi-dimensional aspects required in the administration of a large and reputable dental practice.

Eva joined our clinic in August 2021 and has quickly exhibited her wonderful work ethics and organizational skills. Eva received a Diploma of Social Science from Vanier College in 2015. She is a very sociable and focused team-oriented individual who is fluent in the languages English, French and Tamil. Her reserved yet effective attitude to patient care is greatly appreciated by patients and staff alike.

Akanksha graduated as a dentist from Saveetha Dental College and University, India in 2019. She went on to pursue her Masters in Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences from McGill University. Over the years, she has attended several international conferences to present her research work which allowed her to gain valuable insights in the field of dentistry
